The best spaghetti Recipe yet…

I think spaghetti is a staple in most American households. Aymeric and I made a tradition early on to have ‘spaghetti Tuesdays’ when we were in college. It makes me nostalgic to think about it. My family also had the tradition growing up that the night before any major holiday that requires significant cooking, (i.e. Thanksgiving or Christmas) we made spaghetti. Now my younger self… a bit helpless in the kitchen, went for the old fashioned method of cooking spaghetti. Pot for the noodles to boil, and a pan to cook the meat sauce. Then evidently there would be a third pot of some kind for whatever side dish we were whipping up… so before you know it, we’re buried in pots and pans to wash after we were stuffed with saucy noods. My other gripe about this prep method is that I always ended up with an abnormally large amount of noodle leftovers, and never enough sauce. Since I like my noodles particularly drenched in meaty marinara. Even if I dumped the sauce on the noodles prior to serving… they just never had that perfect coating of sauce that soaks into the pasta. Alas… what to do about this you might ask? About 10 years ago… I discovered a ‘one pot spaghetti’ recipe that CHANGED THE GAME. No more piles of pots and pans to wash post meal, no more wimpy noodles with barely enough sauce to speak of, and L O A D S of flavor. I will never go back. I’ve passed this recipe on to friends and family, and all of them rave about it. It’s really a kitchen classic that I hope brings you as much joy as it brings me. The other thing I love about this recipe is that is very versatile. I’ve made it with chicken stock if I don’t have beef stock on hand. I’ve used ground turkey instead of beef to lighten it up a touch. I’ve even swapped for gluten free pasta on occasion if I’m really looking for a clear conscious. So what I’m saying is… you have no excuse but to make this for your next meal. I think LBB inhales at least 3 bowls before she’s decided to call it quits, and Aymeric is not far behind her in pace. It’s a sticky wonderland of happy pasta. So go and enjoy! Bon Appetit!
